Jesco’s side-pivot hoppers are engineered for operations where conventional dumping hoppers are not practical. Designed to dump between the casters, these hoppers have shortened fork pockets so they will not interfere when the bucket rolls forward to fully discharge material.

Each side-pivot hopper is fabricated in the USA using fully welded carbon 7 gauge steel body with an 8 gauge base and built to withstand the demands of industrial use. Jesco® offers custom configurations to match your specific footprint, and application.

Why Side-Pivot Hoppers Are Built
Unlike standard self-dumping hoppers, Jesco’s side-pivot hoppers rotate on a pivot hinge mounted along each side of the container. This pivot system enables smooth, forward discharge between the casters.
Core features include:
- 7-gauge steel body for structural integrity with sloped front will allow the bucket to pivot between casters to fully emptying the contents
- Side-mounted pivot pipe hinge for stable, predictable forward tilt motion
- Reinforced rolled edges
Safety latch and Safety trip rope assembly to manual release the bucket
Shortened fork pockets will not interfere in the forward dumping
- 5” x 2” Phenolic Casters for mobility
The safety latch engaged in the closed position before transport will eliminate the risk of accidental dumping or discharge. Unlike the standard self dumping hopper, this unit will require manual return of the bucket to an upright position to engage the handle and secure the safety latch to the closed or locked position and ready for its’ next use.
